Approval Of A Director Appointment To Position 2 Of The Houston Independent School District Public Facility Corporation Board Of Directors

The Houston Independent School District (HISD) Public Facility Corporation (PFC) was created in 1997 to assist the school district in the financing of public-school facilities.
The corporation has a board of directors with rotating terms of office. It is recommended that Edgar Colón, whose current term expires in March 2026, be reappointed to Position 2. The new term will expire in March 2029.

RECOMMENDED: That the School Board approves the reappointment of Edgar Colón to Position 2 of the HISD PFC Board of Directors for the term from March 2026 to March 2029, effective February 13, 2026.
