Approval To Convert Lucile Gregg And Clemente Martínez Elementary Schools Into Kindergarten-Grade Eight Future 2 Campuses

The Houston Independent School District (HISD) School Board is asked to approve the conversion of Lucile Gregg Elementary School (ES) and Clemente Martínez ES into Future 2 campuses for kindergarten through grade eight (K-8) students effective at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
The district will provide bus transportation, pursuant to district policy, for students at the Future 2 campuses. During the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, the district will facilitate visits to and transition activities for the new schools.

recommendation
RECOMMENDED: That the School Board approves the conversion of Gregg ES and C. Martínez ES into K-8 Future 2 campuses, effective February 27, 2026.
