Approval Of An Order Authorizing Publication Of Notice Of Intention To Enter Into A Contract For The Acquisition, Improvement, And Equipment Of Real Property

This agenda item seeks School Board approval of an order authorizing the publication of a notice of intent to enter into a lease/purchase contract for the use or purchase or other acquisition of real property or improvements to real property pursuant to the Public Property Finance Act, Chapter 271, Subchapter A, Texas Local Government Code, in accordance with the notice of intention set out in Exhibit A.
The notification shall be published, in a manner required by law, as a notice of intention in substantially the form set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, and shall be published in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese in a newspaper of general circulation in the District, with the date of publication to be not less than 60 days before the expected date of adoption of the order authorizing the execution of the lease/purchase contract.
