The purpose of this request is to obtain authorization for the superintendent of schools or designee to negotiate, execute, and amend an interlocal agreement with Region One Education Service Center.
This interlocal agreement will assist the Houston Independent School District to secure services and products through a joint competitive procurement process. The agreement establishes a formal process to obtain necessary goods and services while ensuring all procurement requirements have been performed in accordance with Chapter 44 of the Texas Education Code (TEC).

recommendation
RECOMMENDED: That the School Board authorizes the superintendent of schools or designee to negotiate, execute, and amend an interlocal agreement with Region One Education Service Center, effective January 16, 2026.
