MEETING HELD - PURPOSE  
The School Board of the Houston Independent School District (HISD) held a hearings meeting  
on April 11, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. in the board auditorium of the Hattie Mae White  
Educational Support Center, 4400 West 18th St., Houston, TX 77092.  
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER – MEMBERS PRESENT  
Board President Momanaee called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. and declared the board  
convened to consider matters pertaining to HISD as listed on the duly posted meeting notice.

board voted to adopt the decision and recommendation of the independent hearing examiner,  
adopt the findings of fact and conclusions of law recommended by the independent hearing  
examiner, and to terminate Ms. Blacklock’s employment with the district effective immediately.

administrative remedies and for want of prosecution and to terminate Ms.  
Jackson’s employment with the district effective immediately.

examiner to grant the petitioner’s motion to dismiss and to terminate Ms. Lewis’s
