MEETING HELD - PURPOSE  
The School Board of the Houston Independent School District (HISD) held a hearings meeting  
on December 10, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. in the board auditorium of the Hattie Mae White  
Educational Support Center, 4400 West 18th St., Houston, TX 77092.

the board voted to adopt the decision and recommendation of the independent  
hearing examiner, adopt the findings of fact and conclusions of law  
recommended by the independent hearing examiner, enter an order to deny the  
proposed non-renewal of Charles Collins’s term contract, and grant his appeal.

designee as that of the board and find that Q. N. violated the Code of Student  
Conduct as alleged by committing arson at Briarmeadow Charter School.
