MEETING HELD - PURPOSE  
The School Board of the Houston Independent School District (HISD) held a hearings meeting  
on October 23, 2025, beginning at 5 p.m. in the board auditorium of the Hattie Mae White  
Educational Support Center, 4400 West 18th St., Houston, TX 77092.

Colón, the board voted to change the certified hearing examiner's conclusions of  
law numbers 6, 7, and 8 for the reasons cited in the administration's proposed  
changes submitted by Myra Chickering; to change the unnumbered conclusions  
of law found in the hearing examiner's "discussion" section for the reasons cited  
in the administration's proposed changes submitted by Myra Chickering; to adopt  
the proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law submitted by Myra  
Chickering; and consistent with those proposed findings of fact and conclusions  
of law moved to nonrenew Susan Tittle's term contract.
